@alysonsee Well done you for taking Miss Roo out for her walk. Her eyesight and hearing may be failing, but I bet she can still sniff the air and know what is happening around her. For dogs sniffing is probably more important than sight or hearing.
We have friends with an elderly dog and they have something that looks like a pram, but designed for dogs. When their doggie gets tired it goes in the pram for a while. Less tiring for the humans, too.
Maybe I should promote my #cooking site a bit. It's a collection of #veggie recipes, majority #vegan, quite a few #Japanese too. The focus is on recipes for one or two people that are quick to make (less than 30 minutes). All my own, all pictures taken just before eating the food.
@wizardofosmium Difficult to say how many there were yesterday, as many people would have been journalists, camera crews, bus drivers, family seeing folks off etc. Seems Farage isn't such a big draw after all.
Apparently, Farage isn't going to do the whole walk. What a fraud!
@Eden I don't know Curriehill that well, specifically, but Currie is really nice. Great access to the west, but also routes into the city centre and the city bypass is nearby. Not as many amenities as you get closer to the city centre. Heriot Watt Uni' campus is nearby.
I think @wizardofosmium lives near(ish) to this area. He might have some more local knowledge.
@wim_v12e If I get time I'll be watching "Assignment - Paris" next week (I got it on DVD). I was looking for stuff on the film and came across that site with the posters.
That first "Damasco '25" poster certainly makes me want to see "Sirocco". 😃
@wim_v12e Quite by chance I came across this poster for "The Man Who Watched Trains Go By". The poster was used for the Belgian release of the film. Thought you might be interested.
I mentioned previously the relationship between national identity & voting. The following chart shows how people voted in the EU referendum (Leave/Remain) against how they identified on the English <-> British spectrum. The results in essence: more English = more Leave.
