i feel like it's bad ux for login forms to not have a way to check what the requirements when setting a password are

like how many times do i go to reset my password, and when it says "your password must..." i remember my old password

@annika when my friends where expecting their third kid, me and my husband where called in at three in the morning to baby sit the two others.
I'd slept like 3 hours when I was poked in the ribs by two kids standing next to the bed going "we usually eat breakfast at 6:30 and its almost 7 right now".
Trying to get them to grasp that it was ok to be late for school and kindergarten today, was just impossible.

Hey #rustlang people - want a super easy bug to fix? Librsvg uses the regex crate to turn ' and \ into \' and \\ in escaped strings. This is totally doable without so much machinery:

ANY security "feature" that requires other peers to play along with it is not a real security feature. it's DRM. STOP DEFENDING DRM AND DEMAND BETTER SOLUTIONS.

@oct2pus Iโ€™m not too fond of the software itself either - if I had the time and resources Iโ€™d probably write my own fedi software. But still, this is what I have now

@feld Or you can write your code with whatever toolchain you wish, using the features and syntax you think is best.

Are people really planning to block all of Pleroma? That sucks. I donโ€™t have the spoons or materials to try to migrate my server, all my followers, all my usersโ€™ followers to a different software

@feld that means you block on things you might need to build what you want

@feld well if youโ€™re trying to build something that uses features from nightly rust, you need to use nightly rust.

Thanks to @brainblasted the Rust GTK bindings now have support for subclassing various GTK widget classes, namely GtkWidget itself, GtkContainer, GtkBox and GtkEventBox.

We're slowly getting to full API coverage, good work!
