well, actually, in relation to animistic spirituality practiced by natives, they are properly called totems, and calling them "spirit animals" would be highly insulting to the totem

the whole "spirit animal" thing is really a hippie white person thing that came about when the LSD crowd started combining LSD use with certain elements of animistic spirituality

either way it is annoying and people who use the term "spirit animal" (such as "going on long jogs in the morning is my spirit animal") come off as being clueless in almost all cases

my point being that there is not really a one size fits all solution to gun regulation, it is possible that a sniper's rifle is really what you need for hunting (which is why the SKS is one of the better weapons for wild hogs)

well, i can tell you when you are out on a farm trying to deal with wild hogs invading the farm, the russian-made SKS is really the best gun for it since it's accurate and can deliver enough muzzle velocity to actually make the kill
