@Elmkast The London food scene has improved a lot but most of it is still very much non-obvious. NYC is still much better both on Manhattan and with those outer borough gems.

@Elmkast I used to think it was a better London (especially when it comes to food) but I may have flipped on that opinion.

I set some really aggressive limits for myself on Screen Time (it is possible to make custom app groups, but it's kinda hidden away). #iOS12

@Elmkast Bikes are still the best way to get around most places. You can cycle very very carefully (both defensively and offensively).

@riga I get how those are confusing but they are also mostly totally different in context so they should be fairly easy to separate.

@jamescgibson HÅG Capisco is highly opinionated but very nice. My coworker who’s tall introduced me to it.

Works well with a standing desk too (with the elevated stand) which is something you probably are going to want as well.

@bitboxer Some of the lineage is through Trungpa who I found super readable so if you can get your hands on some of his books (or message me your e-mail) that seems to be a good starting point.

Through some of the links posted here I fell into a naturalistic Buddhism bloghole and then spent a good chunk of the evening trying to figure out what Dzogchen is.

Result: 🤷♂️
