Watched the kids at our daycare sing in gymnastics class yesterday and I was struck by the fact that they mean it: no cynicism, no irony, just pure heartfeltness.

@zacharius The nice thing about the myths is that they can be whatever is needed at the moment. Sometimes some people may actually need immutable truths.

@tante That dude does have some issues with STS/Latour type of thinking (which in many cases seems to hit the same mark but better).

@Elmkast That’s why one of my favorite modes at some point was low priority (all random, zero stakes, penalty games).

I'm out for more than a year (kids) and I miss it but at the same time I'm not missing much. Now I read 50 books/year, started learning Chinese etc.

@Elmkast What's good on iOS? I'm using Tootdon right now which is serviceable.

@vgr But also that's why I don't like watching movies/series on trains. I get too self-conscious about the violence/sex others can see.

@vgr I managed to mostly empty my Instapaper on a string of flights some years ago.

Then I stopped using Instapaper, so these days it's mostly me trying to hit tab zero.
