@PhoneBoy I've found this is true about any form of identity politics. For example, feminists saying women need safe spaces from cat calls is only exposing how fragile, needy, and lacking of autonomy women must be. Yet, they carry on in pussy hats about how empowered they are.

@queennikki1972 Sure, but the ROI will take longer to pay off. Also, you'll find mixing and matching GPUs can be difficult. If you have 4 identical GPUs, you can easily spot one running out of spec. No so if they're all different. This is because you'll usually need to fine tune GPU settings to get optimal hash rates.

@cGt2099 Let me put it this way. In 2014 I took my annual bonus and bought a 4 GPU mining rig. I built a custom open air frame. I mined a variety of altcoins and traded to Bitcoin. I made about 2.5 BTC after 6 months. I made nowhere near enough to cover hardware and power costs. I shut it down and sold off my BTC to recoup some losses.

2.5 BTC is currently $42k. Who knew?

@PakkonenCT Well yeah, progressives, Antifa, BLM, and Democrats have made a horrible legacy for leftism. Our kids will one day look back at the last few decades with shock that people behaved this way. It still shocks me even now how low it can go. The Laurier University story is a prime example.
