@penguin42 @Floppy there are multiple *types* of bridges too, just to confuse - plumbed-in and puppeted. The latter requires user account details baked in, so you *have* to run your own homeserver for those, as there's no way to generalize the service without storing many users credentials locally.

Iirc Slack falls into this group, so you'd likely need your own server - but I could be wrong. @matrix can probably clarify :)

@fitheach its well kept, fairly large inside, good views from the top. Decent information boards if history is your thing. Not sure how large the grounds are though, from a walking perspective.

Definitely worth a visit for us, but we have Historic Scotland membership, so free is generally worth it :)

@brainblasted how's the single player side? My small child and I just finished Astroneer, and we loved Subnautica, so I'm looking for another explore-heavy-with-a-bit-of-crafting to do next.... Does NMS fit the bill?

+1 for HomeAssistant for the "brain" as it's absolutely superb.

I'm using a mix if IKEA Tradfri, iTead Sonoffs flashed with ESPhome, and my hot water & central heating thermostat is a HestiaPi.

If anyone knows any good brand of electric radiator with sensible APIs, I'd be *very* interested!
