Jonny Ive leaving Apple - stock is going to be worthless in about 4 years. I'll bet everyone (Shiller, Federighe, etc.) leave by then. Maybe get one of them who always wanted to be CEO to stay, but it's going to lose all the guys who made it what it was.

The_Donald situation, in my mind, is all about the radical left on Reddit, above all, hating the fact that the people robbed them of their right to see Hillary elected:

1) A generally happy people
2) Can meme better
3) Continually point out the hypocrisy of the left

It is nothing more than shutting down people who continually make the left look stupid with facts and just keep winning.

It's just ramping up to shut down Trump for 2020 - nothing more, nothing less.

First it was the Loomer's of the world and other "D List Conservatives" - not they're moving up to T_Donald. Next will be higher level Trump supporters like Cernovich, etc. and ultimately they will shut Trump or at least his highest level surrogates, like Brad Parscale down.

I disagree with @adam's assessment of r/The_Donald situation.

If it was just about advertisers, they would simply not run advertisements on those subreddits. The reason they don't target terrorists is because they are chicken shit and don't want people who are actually violent targeting them back.

They are seeking to defund/shut down conservatives who don't agree with them ideologically, but it's not because those conservatives are toxic to advertisers.

There's really nothing going on on T_D - it's a very welcoming community, as compared to any left leaning community on Reddit. To boot, Reddit even admits the "offending comments" were by random users and promptly deleted by mods - so likely astroturfers going there SPECIFICALLY to get them quarantined.

I'll continue, thank you very much. No doubt the countless pedophile sites are still open game.
