Do we have programmers here who know functional programming languages?

I'd like to look at our No Agenda Liquidsoap code and improve it with someone who is good at this stuff.

We played an episode about Qanon we shouldn't have played at all. It doesn't happen often and normally I just skip to the next show, but now that I have the option, and it got me triggered to a boiling point, I drove to my studio and took over the stream to make an impromptu rant about this stuff.

Driving to my studio now to take over the stream and rebuke this Qanon BS.

Today's Pre-#NoAgenda stream will be approximately between 60 and 90 minutes long. I wanted to do 2 hours, but I have an appointment first where I can:

sign a contract to rent a studio! Can't wait!!

Spent the whole night on the last steps of a big, YUGE, upgrade routine of the No Agenda servers.

FINALLY DONE!

This has been a behemoth of an upgrade routine. Took a LONG time to get it all done - two months! - because Funtoo changed to a different repository style. Required focus and naturally I wanted to be careful not to get any service disruption.

So the base systems are fully up to date now and this guy is gonna fetch some sleep! More later! Glad this part is done!

Nothing wrong with that, so please don't be too harsh or judgmental when someone is trying to make an effort. ✌

@shanehawkk @ChrisWilson @GummyNerds For all of the times I followed people with opposing views, I haven't had even a single time when it changed my own views. So:
1) I'm a pretty relaxed person with moderate views; and
2) the views I do oppose, boy do they suck; hence
3) our echo chamber is the best.

I'd rather disagree with people in this "echo chamber" (I actually disagree that it is that, thanks to the federation) than to keep reading the Kurt Eichenwalds of the world.

Funny kanji time.
金 = "kin", and means gold
玉 = "tama", and means ball(s). Japanese has no difference between singular and plural.

Combine them:
金玉 = "gold balls", right?
It actually means "testicles." 😄

This word came about because tanuki scrotum skin would be used to pound down gold into sheets. Tanuki scrotums are apparently very good at this because they are very strong and very flexible. Strange, yeah? That's why Gold balls = testicles.
