@mwcz I don't think it can be done; there doesn't seem to be an option for it that I can see at least.
If you want something private, maybe something like a MatterMost instance would suffice?

@Mightywomble ohhh apologies, I thought you meant for your personal mailbox. Totally get it now.
@puffinux @amolith @brandon I think I remember Joey saying he did that because his work was getting plagiarised via the RSS feed. Still very annoying though, agree.
@Mightywomble not sure what value that would add? Seems like a whole lot of work when you could just not click on the links?
I could understand it if the automatically opened, but they don't, do they?
@lukewrites I'm thinking about switching to iOS for my next phone. I tried a dumb phone, lasted less than a day. There's a few things that I rely on too heavily.
@lukewrites jesus. Why can't they just use sata, like the rest of the world?
@ArchLabsLinux great to have you here guys! Welcome to Fosstodon, and of course, the Fediverse!
@GreyLinux I don't believe so. I think it's just public, which posts your toots everywhere.
@ConfusedImp "when she asked why, I blue screened" 🤣🤣🤣
@GreyLinux more context:
Unlisted toots are public, except that they do not appear in the public timelines or search results. They are visible to anyone following you and appear on your profile page to the public even without a Mastodon login. Other than not appearing in the public timelines or search results, they function identically to public posts.
@GreyLinux I tend to simple post publicly. "Unlisted" means that the toot isn't posted to public timelines.
@lukewrites do apple not solder their storage to the board?
@ar2000jp I don't do a whole lot of customisation. My script does the following:
- Install apps & themes
- Configures my Dock items
Then I just need to apply my theme, configure my file syncing app and I'm done. Took me 45 minutes from downloading the ISO to having the system ready.
@IntegralDuChemin my distro is UbuntuMATE. It's only the Pop theme that I'm using.
If you're happy in Xubuntu, then don't change a thing. 👍
@pezzoDiPeco don't try and fix it. I messed up my package manager trying to do so haha.
@mooshoe happy to help :)
@IntegralDuChemin PopOS is the distro created by System76. Been around for a year or so now.
@IntegralDuChemin I'm using UbuntuMATE 18.04.1 with the PopOS theme.
@george_ way too much going on there, how do you cope???? 🙂
Aaaaaand I'm back. Goddam I love Linux!
