@Technowix@dd86k I guees what I mist the most was the ability to log off. Now you can't get away from the Internet and what you do on line can haunt you IRL. Their is no more off line, their is no more AFK, their is no more privacy.
@Technowix@dd86k Muiltmedia sucked though. Looking for lewds involved a 2 hour phone call and you might only see 10 images. Downloading a 320kbs MP3 album might take all night.
In many ways it was much more anonymous. If you were smart you could be anybody you wanted. The closes thing we had to social media was chat rooms and forums.
@Technowix@dd86k OLD 90's LADY CHECKING IN. The Internet in the 90's was a crazy place. you could go to E-bay type in 'Baby' and see people selling their baby's. There were really no rules to what you could post, if you knew some basic HTML you could make a geo cities page about your ass.

@PrismaticMurder I was under the impression that the stripes in the background were the trans pride flag. You're probably right about the pentagram. too much heavy metal has conditioned my brain to think pentagram = metal head.
Came out to my best guy friend tonight. He accepted me! His girlfriend offered to take me shopping! They even talked about letting present as female at their wedding! yay! happy trans sounds!
@PrismaticMurder You're right. I was panicking because I am on the cusp of a full time position that will let me move out of my parents house. I need to see my doc/therapist first. Thanks for the support.
