@trashheap Thanks... I mostly was a signatory on this one, though I agree with it; others did the work of coordinating (which I know isn't easy). I'm glad the statement is out.
@J12t Not sure the gender of all participants. I'm guessing it's mostly male though, but that's partly because of the problem being addressed: GNU is *very* male dominated.
Attempts to make progress to change that in the past have been hindered by the very issue this post is discussing.
Still mostly offline. Will be back online tomorrow probably.
Progress continues on Spritely Goblins in my internet-disconnect; haven't pushed much in terms of commits mainly because I've been working through one of those problems that requires you to sketch everything out in org-mode over the couse of a couple of days just to wrap your head around the problem. The actual code changed is proportionally not large, but conceptually it's been very difficult work!

I'll be mostly offline the next few days. Sorry. I need to get things done and I don't have the energy to expend on social things right now.
In other news, I am making good progress. I just merged a bunch of code into #Spritely Goblins' master branch. Inter-vat communication is now working for same-process vats. Multiple process/server vat communication coming soon... that's when we'll hit the real actual "secure distributed programming" promise of Spritely Goblins. https://gitlab.com/spritely/goblins
@kaniini I still don't understand why there's so much resistance to that idea on the fediverse. I think once a more generalized system comes out and successfully covers those bases, there will be greater interest across the board in doing so.
it’s a working system. the only thing left to validate is the charger / battery monitor. then it’s time for board rev 2, finishing the case design and kick off the crowdfunding
