@xomputer This is exactly what my cat does too. The problem is that we (me and my roomie) do tend to pay less attention to him when he's not screaming, or getting up to trouble... Paying attention to a quiet cat is very very hard, especially when you're really tired of it because it's been demanding your attention for months, and you are kind of wanting a break...

I wonder how much flirting *does* go on here on Mastodon. If I know myself right, there's a party going on under my nose, and I'm missing out on it.

There are many people here on Mastodon that I wouldn't mind flirting with, but if that flirt ever goes anywhere, bam, you're on a flight across the globe to canoodle with somebody you've never met, but are madly in love with anyway.

And when I mean "Nerd", I don't mean people who have seen Spiderman and Game of Thrones. I mean people who never go outside and have spent a considerable amount of time on activities that aren't mainstream.

They should put a "Nerd" filter on dating sites. It would save so much time.
