After a few days of trial and error, I finally figured out how to route traffic between a LAN and the IPTV ports on an Altibox FMG home central.
macOS is pretty much the only OS where I'm actually fine with the stock browser.
Imagine if a pair of human eyes appeared, looking around the screen, whenever you were being tracked on the Internet. I think it would suddenly make everyone hyper-aware of how much they're being monitored.
@dvn I mean, you may not agree about Domino's, but their thin, strongly flavoured pizzas are refreshingly different from what's already on offer in Norway. By comparison, better options than Subway are easy to find.
@dvn Subway is relatively new here in Norway. It was only chartered in 2011 and had opened a paltry 17 locations in the entire country by the end of the year. That's one location per 289430 citizens. For comparison, the United States has one location per 120 citizens. Most of the recent American food imports have been good stuff like pulled pork or Domino's Pizza, but Subway is merely okay, a bit like McDonald's, really. Boring but consistent.
Hot take: Subway isn't great. It's merely adequate.
A small part of me can't help but look at electric cars and go "Electric car? Where's my FLYING car? That's what we were promised."
The next TV format after 16:9 will be 16:12. First, we made your screen wider, and now we're going to make it taller!
"But the fraction 16:12 reduces to 4:3!" I hear you say, and this is indeed correct...
...but who can say no to having a screen that is both wide and tall at the same time? I know I can't!
Watch out for brand new 16:12 TVs from the major manufacturers in 2019, folks!
It's funny how, if you want to be relatable in a web comic, your main character needs to look like a fat blob.
No, auto correct, I did not mean ducking. I have never meant ducking! And neither has anyone else! Duck you!
@Smeallie Garfield is such an iconic character that you don't have to draw him anywhere near on model in order for people to recognise him.
@geekygent The right photo is just a sweet potato boiling. Which reminds me, I have to boil normal potatoes for the fΓ₯rikΓ₯l!
@geekygent Well, the photo is from a random cooking site. But here are photos of the real deal. Cabbage isn't cooked through yet, so it's still green. The meat is underneath to make sure it gets cooked thoroughly.
Tonight is Norwegian-American night in my kitchen, with fΓ₯rikΓ₯l and sweet potato pie. No occasion. I just have a craving for autumn foods.
I have a question about YouTube/Internet culture: Those DJ sets and lyric videos on YouTube with the anime characters on them... Are they made for/by lonely Internet otakus, or is anime seen as cool by Generation Z?
@skypage When you're 20 or 25 and harbouring dreams of striking out as a professional in those fields, you tend to believe otherwise.
I've got a feeling that the way you know that you're good enough at art or music to sell your work is if people are already asking you if they can buy it.
I used to draw furry art when I was 10-15 years younger. Someone told me that furry art was a phase that I'd grow out of. I took it as an insult at the time, but the guy was right. In fact, *drawing* was a phase for me, and the same seems to have happened to my music production. The only hobby that remains is the one hobby I've had for as long as I can remember: Technology.
I ordered some MOSFETs on eBay. I'm beginning to regret it. They're absolutely tiny. I'm going to have to solder them on with pinchers. π©
