Because of the extensive tourism, they built a highway right up to site. And with tourism and traffic come shops. Businesses get money and they build houses and yet more shops, and so on...
The end result is a city which kinda ruins the mood if you want your pyramid photo to have the “lost in the desert” vibe

I propose a new column in the Nutrition Data table on groceries. Instead of just having per 100g or per serving, we should add per volume unit, for example, per 100mL. Certain groceries, like popcorn or crackers, look extremely calorie dense when you go by weight.

Hmm, eBay has lots of nice power switches, but most of them want 12V for the LED. I'd prefer to have a switch with a separate input for the LED so I can use my own resistor.
