Sverige har i større grad enn Norge hatt aktive høyreekstreme grupperinger, og det aner meg at dette i seg selv kan skyldes at akseptansen for å vise skepsis til innvandring har vært så lav. Det er en kjensgjerning at det i en gitt befolkning alltid vil være elementer som ønsker å beskytte et lands grenser og dets kultur. Hvis ikke disse elementene har mulighet til å uttrykke seg, risikerer man at de blir ekstreme. Legger man lokk på det, vil det bare koke over.

Det er SDs historie som nazistisk parti som gjør at det svenske etablissementet føler behov for å ta avstand til dem, og dette er forståelig. Det norske Frp har bakgrunn som skatteprotestparti og er ikke farget av høyreeksteemisme på samme måte som SD. Dette er uheldig for Sverige, fordi debatten stadig preges av et ønske om å ta avstand til nazister. Frp var kanskje ikke ansett som 100% stuerent da det først gikk inn i regjering i 2013, men følgene har vært heller udramatiske.

Tanker om Sverige: Jeg tror at den svenske venstresiden ville fått sjokk hvis de så hva nordmenn flest mener om innvandring, for det kan minne mye om det SD sa i debatten der SVT følte at de måtte ta avstand fra det som ble sagt. Å si at innvandrere må tilpasse seg norsk kultur anses ikke som rasistisk i Norge. Det er stor uenighet rundt hvorvidt det er riktig, men det er ikke slik at man anklages for å være et monster for å mene at det er det.

@rsolva All I'm saying is that it wasn't hard to find examples of it. It's probably not a universal niche, but based on how easily I've come across people who have the problem, there must be a considerable number of people globally who want a solution. There's a commercial product, Synergy, for people who have two computers, two monitors and one keyboard/mouse that they want to control them with seamlessly. I bet that a fair number of Synergy users also have 5.1 systems.

@rsolva My roommate has the problem. Another friend of mine has it too, but only uses stereo speakers and headphones, so I helped him solve his problem with a small mixing desk. Perhaps I should have a 2.0-5.1 switch on the device to make it mix 6 stereo sources down to 3 identical stereo outputs...

@rsolva I'm considering to sell it as a kit, yes. I'd have to charge a bit for a preassembled system. As for design, I think I could get away with some nice silkscreening or vinyl stickers on the chassis I've already chosen for it.

I don't know how I'd teach out to people though. I usually have terrible luck when it comes to creating interest in things I've made.

Jeg syns også det er spesielt at tennene ikke teller som en del av kroppen mtp. folketrygden, men skjønner ikke helt hvorfor han mener at det bare er folk som er vokst opp i gamle dager som får hull i tennene. Jeg er født i 1983 og har hull i tennene fordi jeg ikke var så flink å pusse dem inntil ganske nylig (nå har jeg investert i en elektrisk tannbørste). Enkelte får hull til tross for god tannhygiene.

I didn't know that Babylon (and pre-1950s Iraq) was full of Jews and that the Torah was written in Babylon. I've always imagined the Babylonians to be a bit like the Jews, because the men remind me of rabbis in ancient depictions.

I seriously considered buying one of those laser cutters on eBay and making a custom chassis for it (see above toot), but I don't think I can justify the investment in time and money at the moment.

You can really taste how the flavour of a tea bag develops as it soaks when you have it in your mouth (see toot above for explanation). At first, it's almost kind of sweet, but with time, it gets increasingly bitter.

I'm sitting here with a tea bag in my mouth like a weirdo. My gum keeps bleeding after my dentist visit on Thursday. I didn't call him on Friday because I wanted to wait it out, but it looks like I'm gonna have to call him on Monday to ask about this, because it starts bleeding again whenever I brush, and it's the only part of the gum that's doing that, so I don't think it's gingivitis.
