Stellan SkarsgΓ₯rd as Harkonnen, and now Michael Persbrandt as The Mule?
Swedes are taking over the Sci-Fi villain niche from the English.
Generally I sing Queen.
Bunch of romance there that I haven't scrutinized, but "I Want to Break Free" clearly isn't about functional relations.
The protagonist in "Breakthrough" isn't reaching their partner or potential partner but aren't obsessive or possessive about it and seem somewhat hopeful that things will work out.
Some of the best songs though are just celebrations of the joys of life. "The Miracle" is unlikely to be in the Karaoke machine, but "Don't Stop Me Now" might be.
@FiXato I've never paid attention to the lyrics. Had a quick look and it looks wholesome!
Next question is if that will be available in the karaoke room. Perhaps it will! I'll try to remember to keep an eye out next time!
I sing Robbie Williams's "Let Me Entertain You" and Madonna's "Ray of Light" at karaoke if they have them. Those aren't about romance and they're positive!
"Dancin in the Streets" is nice too, whether it Bowie+Jagger or the original. Well, the boys are supposed to grab girls but I'll let that slide and assume it'll be consensual ...
@FiXato Wow, that happened a lot?
I've never pinned that song for romantic, but then I did hear it very late, just a few years ago.
"Never Gonna Give You Up" is the wholesome exception.
Well, except "you'll never get this from any other guy". Is he sincere or just marketing himself?
Kid: Aaaargh, why do all old songs suck, or if they don't suck they're bad???
All 80s and 90s European and American pop songs are either supposedly romantic but unwittingly singing about toxic forms of romance, cynical and sarcastic songs about getting what you can from a drab love scene, or they're openly songs about people hurting from bad romance.
Karaoke videos are a special artform.
Currently enjoying Britney Spears's "Toxic" to images of happy girls dancing in parks and sweeping panoramas of churches and buggies with horses.
Looks like I won't have to buy the old chunky style dock. The USB-C docks with USB-A adapter supposedly work with this old thing too.
@Leif Lindholm I understood limiting it when there wasn't enough to go around, when the first batch of vaccines were just out. Why limit it now?
Here, there are recommendations for who they strongly encourage to get it, but anyone can get it as long as the last one was at least 180 days ago.
It's free of charge until the end of the year. After that I don't know.
>>> A Betazoid character who isnβt in a nurturing profession, but is a tactical officer.>>> βCaptain, I sense they know theyβre about to get their asses handed to themβ

> Klingon therapist: the battle against mental illness cannot be won decisively. It is a long campaign against an enemy who never tires, whose forces swell to twice their size whenever you look away. Battle against a foe of such magnitude, who occupies your very mind⦠every moment you survive is a triumph against all odds. There is no more honorable combat.
Lots of people are excited now that the US pharmacies have updated covid vaccines available.
I'm confused that private customers care if it's in the pharmacy or not. Do pharmacies have staff that can inject you, are people talking about the implication that if it's in the pharmacy then it's in the clinic, or do people actually go and buy vaccines over the counter and then go inject themselves?
