I'm not a film buff. I saw this incredible thing and I didn't realize that it would all by itself revitalize and expand the whole field of animation. Now we have things like PIBtLW and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem" coming out ... not exactly on a regular basis, but it's not rare either, and it's coming from multiple studios. -

We were talking about the first time we saw SPItSV.
I came into the cinema not having seen any trailers and I didn't even know if it would be animated or live action. The first five minutes I was thinking "Wow, that's different. Is this going to be super exhausting to watch and just feel pretentious and flashy?", but just a few minutes more and I was hooked.

It'a just ridiculous how much effort and detail went into "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" and "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish".
Kid is rewatching some scenes and is like "hey! I don't remember that frame being so cool!", literally going frame by frame, and some things happen in just two frames in a different drawing style. Each frame is a piece of art on its own.
