    @mmn Nodes aren't invisible though, and nodes aren't relays like in Tor. Nodes host users. Followers. You would notice if your followers were leaking you. And then you would block, or the admin block the node.

    Feels like feature creep to me

    Like, the video player already isn't as good as, say, YouTube's, because YouTube is focused on the video player, while on Mastodon it is just one component. Imagine adding audio players as well. Ugh
