@otini Yes. It's based on Maxima, which is also written in Lisp. My code implements the user interface, including rendering the maths expressions. That part was the hardest part. Mainly because how to render certain things is not always obvious. You have to tweak everything so that it looks acceptable, and I'm not really good with visual design.
With a The it sounds very strange. If I heard someone say that I would ask myself what Age are they referring to? And what is the old age? New Age, on the other hand, refers to a concept, or some kind of movement.
In a previous version of this post, I mentioned that Wikipedia uses this style, but looking closer I realise they don't. I find having a The in there looks really weird and not somehting I am used to seeing.
@lesbianhacker How do you feel disagreements should be handled?
I'm concerned that no matter how perfect the intentions, once there is a disagreement there will always be some party who feel that their voice was not heard.
@otini Nice. Seems like we're both struggling with similar issues, as I am also writing a maths renderer. Mine is specific to Maxima though. But I'm sure you've seen me mention it before.
@Elizafox I have a Facebook account, that I very rarely log in to. Whenever I do, I immediately remember why I don't do it.
It's literally a horrible experience. I can't put my finder on it, but just browsing the feed feels wrong somehow. Like I'm somewhere where I don't belong.
You're not really missing anything not being on there. Just find the phone numbers to the people you do care about and keep in touch with them (using Signal or whatever). It's more nicer.
@hellojed The one thing that makes 4 really boring is that every building you destroy are magically reconstructed once you return to the area. That makes the one thing these games is about, destroying buildings, really unsatisfying.
