@PresGas Hah, good luck! Catching up with my subscriptions is like Inbox Zero, i.e. Mission Impossible.

@mdfrg Well, it workes for my because I have basically three or four topics only and back then I was running a single Planet for public consumption. But you are right, of course, it's a totally different thing and not a 1:1 replacement. I'm just noticing that my current Feedly has 362 unread blog posts. I should just expire all old posts automatically, somehow. That's why I like the "river of news" aspect of a planet. It just flows by β and then it's gone.

Quiet disk rattling
Keyboard clicking, then it stops.
Rain falls and I think.

@PresGas Yeah, looks like GNU IceCat because Get Add-Ons leads me to https://directory.fsf.org/wiki/IceCat#Overview. The search is unusable, but the links in the table work. Currently installed: HTTPS Everywhere, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin, uMatrix. I guess the IceCat defaults are not installed?
Also, I can't install from Firefox directly: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/https-by-default/ says I must install #firefox, first. -

New laptop, new OS. Copied some files over from the Mac laptop. I love watching myself and noting the order in which i do things.
1. browser works, bookmark my blog, and two Mastodon instances: octodon.social and dice.camp
2. install Emacs
3. install git
Not sure what to do next. Browser add-ons, I guess? What is this Purebrowser thing? -

@Purism There are some air bubbles remaining that I can't seem to dislodge. What's your opinion on this: is this screen protector thing even required? I always removed mine from the phones I have, and I don't think the Apple laptops ever came with it. But then again I haven't bought a laptop in a long time.

Got a new @Purism laptop. First order of the day: removing the annoying air bubbles. π

And I thought #Emacs' #calendar support was excessive. -

@sivy I don't know why I don't like Twitter anymore. Did I just add too many journalists, news sites and pundits to my feed and now I'm sad whenever I look at it? There's still people there I like. But there's also people I like on Facebook and people I like on Google+. So occasionally I still post over there. There's no need to burn electronic bridges. We're not at war.

@PresGas I think it comes with PureOS. In the old days, I used Debian and i3 or some other small window manager (my notes say Openbox).

@PresGas @dredmorbius WTF and the opening brackets are included in the URL? This is not good.

@dredmorbius @PresGas Gah, at least in Amaroq the closing bracket of that link is lost. How annoying. <https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/WAR_(file_format)>

@22 Mine is Mail, WhatsApp, Threema, Amaroq. The phone app, messenger app and browser are somewhere on the first page, though. GoodReader, too. iBooks is buried somewhere. Kindle is on the second page.
