You can tell all the experienced Mad King Says players by who DOESN'T immediately run to the big chest after getting the event box.

You don't actually have enough time to open the chest before getting shunted to the big Cauldron, so if you try to do it first, it'll get bugged and you won't be able to open it at all until after rollover. >.>
