So, the only Internet I have at the moment is via my phone, thanks to Comcast's lack of follow-through and the landscapers just not giving a shit. At least the Comcast rep recognized that it was their fault for not having dug the cable after the initial installation. Got a tech coming tomorrow to reinstall the line and then we'll see if they send someone to trench the cable properly.
@mmu_man Not surprising. I know that he OpenBSD team has done a lot of work with inteldrm and amdgpu support. AFAIK, NVIDIA isn't supported there either. Might be the same path for Haiku.
@mmu_man I just skimmed it right now as this is one to read with a big ol' cup of coffee, but yes, specs are good at the least, but has NVIDIA even done that?
Those of you in range, PLEASE come join us for a live "Off the Hook" this Wednesday evening at 7PM. It's short notice, but a show of numbers and support is desperately needed.

Mmmmm, a successful brew! No more driving to the other location for good coffee. 😁
And speaking of driving, it's time for me to drive over to the boys' house and pick them up before heading home. Then, it's off to parkour before dropping them off at home again.
@ashley Yup! Mastodon (and the Fediverse overall) also reminds me of how the web used to be: a wide open potential of possibilities, not this walled garden we've had since the emergence of "social networks". Even the BBSes back in the day allowed you to jump to another BBS IIRC (it was so long ago so I could be wrong, but for some reason I remembered that).
I got into the #BBS scene in the early to mid 90s. Still, I miss it in spite of being late to the party. Thankfully, #SDF and others exist to fill that void.
