@kai It's all relative. There are dozens of delayed side projects that I'm never sure I'll get around to. For me, writing articles is something that is time-consuming, but not necessarily hard.

My biggest Achilles heel is time management. 😛

Hmm, I should probably keep the ball rolling on writing. I guess I'll choose an unfinished article draft and go with it.

@ultimape I use my hub just for myself and my hobby projects, but there's no reason you couldn't host 200 people on an instance.

@ultimape I would argue that it's a perfectly serviceable Facebook replacement, but I've used the system for a long time and am probably biased.

That being said, it does effectively replace all of Facebook's major features. If you've got a good theme, the system is a pleasure to use.

@ultimape Yeah, I have OStatus / ActivityPub integration on my Hubzilla channel. Still, I largely prefer Mastodon for microblogging.

I'd turn off the federation protocol connectors on my hub, but I do have connections with some people that follow me exclusively there. :P
