@clacke My much loved Nexus 7 died this way. The cable egged-out and then pushed in the port. I'm very careful with these things but even in general use it did not seem too robust. I have a nice pair of Bose headphones and I treat the port like glass crystal as I'm so wary of damaging it.
My Pixel 2 USB-C port by contrast is like the day it came out of the box, I don't worry aboout it at all.

@farhan Connector. And I guess protocol too as interopability seems pretty decent.

The connector does not slowly chew up the port either, which still drives me nuts with the older ones. Sharp edges are terrible for mechanical stress.

I feel the USB standard really got it right with USB-C. It seems very reliable and strong compared to micro and mini.

@andyc I've seen quite a few on 2.4.0. Maybe the idea of a version change is a bit scary for the bigger instances.

@Nikolai_Kingsley I'm hoping I do not leak or explode. At least not by accident.

Watching Clone Wars with the eldest. The world is so well realised. Scenes on Coruscant in particular are so lifelike and immersive.

The shop I work at is very strict on privacy and adhering to law as this is America and punitive lawsuits are a very real thing.

KCL broke GPDR in locking out some students and one staff member. I'm interested what information identified them as activists in the first place - the article only links to a statement by KCL's acting principal. They did not throw their security team under the bus, but did those staff not understand the law?
