Learning my wife at the hospital at 4am is hard, but, we both need to sleep
-
Apparently this hospital stops serving food at 9pm
Which is awful, if, say, you've been with your sick wife since just as you were gonna grab dinner
-
Me: "I wanna do this then go to bed early"
Also me: "Oh shit, I didn't realize it was 2 am"

After three years, I still remain tempted to convert my Spelljammer D&D 5e game to Burning Wheel

β² @Sareh (Sareh88@twitter.com): Yesterday, @SlackHQ sent me an email. My accounts on various Slack teams had been immediately deactivated, with no prior warning. The reason? I've visited family in Iran and used Slack when there. Only my work's paid-for Enterprise account works still.
-
β² @Sareh (Sareh88@twitter.com): If you run a free, public @SlackHQ team and you want your community to be truly global and inclusive, you should seriously consider migrating to a different platform.

β² @Aniika (aniikanskywalkr@twitter.com): Soooo you know those new @Amazon lockers? I just observed there is a code you can enter that will pop open ALL the doors. The mail man messed up dropping off my package and the front desk lady was like oh. Yeah no problem. And enters the code. Amazon, we need to have the talk.

β² @Rob Donoghue (rdonoghue@twitter.com): Because coffee is bringing me life: My Jansport for coffee is a Melita red plastic cone. They cost a couple of bucks, work with common filters, and can let you make a better cup of coffee pourover style without going down the rabbit hole.

Dear @Twitter
If I say "hide this broadcast" , it's because broadcasts are stupid and ruin the way I use your app.
Not "I hate this person"

Urg, I've been so bad at Friendica these days, since I've been away from a computer for days at an end, and the apps are still causing me friction I can't explain.

@ricardojmendez Define a clean license?
Since - as much as I *like* three clause BSD and have licensed all my software WTFPL, GPL does mean that it's hard to hide it inside one of these companies.
My point is - they can pay salaries with proprietary software, but fuck them if they want the community value of open source, without the actual community benefit. They are equally bad as any proprietary vendor.
