i like to use the "Getting Things Done" methodology, but there are many others. ultimately i think if you want to get everything done eventually, it doesn't matter what you work on now -- so long as you pick something.

this new years while literally unable to tell the difference between reality and fiction i decided im gonna give up illicit narcotics, for at least 6 months, preferably the whole year. this means weed which i smoke almost daily. it also means tons of other drugs i do on a infrequent basis. i hope i dont cope by drinking a ton more.

this is the third year in a row ive had a serious mental breakdown during new years. it always seems to be just around the strike of 12 and it takes a couple days for me to recover (im still getting there rn). this year was inwardly terrible, where as last year was externally destructive.

i dont know why i struggle with new years so much. it's beginning to frustrate me.

run backups more frequently as deltas. full back ups once a month.

i suppose it's worth pointing out that its only white people that refuse to change.

ive been living that life too long and i refuse to continue carrying the burden. ive changed but i cant force others to. them forcing me back in boxes that deteriorate my mental health is not something I'm willing to put up with much longer.

if only i was better at confrontation.

i feel like im stuck being the person my friends expect me to be. I don't know how to change their perception such that they see the new me. im already dreading going back.
