This is an excellent testimonial to FOSS systems. Regardless of your thoughts on the quality of the product, people bought these things for $900 American. Now, the company is gone and the servers are being shut down. This formerly $900 device is useless for anything other than parts.

Please stop trying to build "no fuck ups allowed" online spaces or pretend that that is something even remotely achievable.

That doesn't mean you should stop moderating or having rules. But please recognise that we have flaws and exist within a system where we are often facing situations beyond our control.
Humans have the capacity for growth and we aren't solely responsible for everything that we do.

@animo Studies have shown that solar power is "contagious." When one house gets a solar roof, their neighbors all start wanting one. If you look at a map you'll see clumps of solar power where "outbreaks" have happened, not an even distribution at all

So I guess the answer is, lead the way! Show your neighbors how it's done, #solarpunk style :greensun:
