    The rover Europe sends to Mars in 2020 to look for life will carry the name of Rosalind Franklin. (She of the "what did Watson and Crick discover? Rosalind Franklin's notes!" joke I've seen going around.)

    Plenty of stuff sent (or about to be sent) into space has men's names -- the Hubble and Webb telescopes, the Parker solar probe, etc -- but I can't think of anything that's had a woman's name so far.

    @kaniini You should look at GNU Taler: https://www.taler.net/en/
    They have special HTTP headers which allows paying for things via their browser plugin, without requiring JS. The tricky bit is setting up an exchange for it. Plus federating balances between exchanges would be nontrivial. But on the plus side: not a cryptocurrency, anonymous payments (on the customer side at least)

    We've got a bit of a snow storm today in.. all of Sweden. Drove to buy some snow shoes a few km away, an errand that might take 30 minutes usually, ended up taking around two hours!

    @anna Seems allowing scripts from their CDN makes the images work, but also nets you an ad nag screen..
    As for youtube embeds, you do get the URL to the blocked videos conveniently available for pasting into an #mpv command line
