"In this paper we presented Cwtch, a protocol for building metadata resistant applications based on Ricochet. The protocol solves a number of open problems with contemporary metadata resistant designs, providing asynchronous, anonymous multi-party communication through the use of untrusted, discardable infrastructure. We have released an open source prototype of Cwtch which can be found at https://cwtch.im/ ."
Look at this awesome treadle press from the Minnesota Center for Book Arts!
Imagine this, but 3d printed at small scale, for DIY printing press operations that aren't reliant on tech like traditional printers. This is so much a part of what #solarpunk is about, for me. Finding what worked before and using it in today's context, not taking for granted that any technical progress is always beneficial.
if anyone knows of any linux/unix sysadmining positions needing filled in seattle hit me up. i have experience, im certified, and my laptop has lots of stickers which I'm sure counts for something.

So... Anyone interested in getting someone to draw short animated gifs of their #ttrpg characters, or etc?
:thinktink: I'm getting into animation enough that I'm honestly contemplating doing commissions, and am curious about how many people are interested in this sort of thing.
@webmind angela davis and huey p. newton i can recommend from having read their work already, and from searching i found ashanti alston. others i can recommend who aren’t necessarily anarchists: fanon, edward saïd, ahmed ben bella are all good
Bringing garlic and fresh roots (ginger and or tumeric) to a very gentle simmer. Then once the oil is all out, sieve the bits out and into a glass, add lemon and honey for taste. Thats a nice boost when one feel a bit under the weather!
For #SunDIY, I want to share my favorite tasty tonic. It's a good evening pick me up, has pulled me out of scores of burgeoning colds, and is highly adaptable!
Ingredients: Water Lemon juice Ginger (powdered or fresh and grated) Honey
Bring water to a boil. Add lemon juice, honey, and ginger (amounts vary based on your tastes, but I like a lot of lemon and a lot of ginger), and stir well.
Variations include blood orange, cranberry, adding turmeric, drinking it iced.
For a super boosted version, I boil the fresh ginger and fresh turmeric with the water and steep it with ginseng root, then add lemon and honey. The ginseng and turmeric flavors are both earthy and balance well. Be careful boiling turmeric, though. Too much will quickly become overpowering. 💜
