@zerohedge They should really just create a social network that adds to the Fediverse and is open source. That could drive a lot of people away from other social media sites and drive advertisers back to google and their advertising.

@Tryphon I think we may never convince enough people to choose privacy over convenience. I think a possible solution would be to improve and grow networks like the one we are using now so much that network effects make them choose these decentralised systems.

There may be a certain type of people we can target to kick start a movement like that.
