It is really important work.

I am convinced that there are institutions out there that would give him a grant to work on this.

I have been programming for 30+ years and I keep stumbling on open source projects that blow my mind. The scope, the polish, the technical elegance...

To some extent, it’s because a project is exactly what I need at the time, but not just.

How do you guys find out about the cool computer stuff? Random blog posts or toots? Is there a magazine that features the best projects? There should be one.
