Met the folks creating #OpenCollective last night! They were super nice. Had some really good conversations with them. I hadn't realized that the project is 100% #FLOSS.
That's just one of the 32 streams (they call them "les webradios") airing music around the clock. Not all of it strictly jazz, but variations of folk, soul, funk, etc. There's one for everyone. http://www.jazzradio.fr/radio/webradio
I'm bit-by-bit attempting to transition towards a more co-operative way of living. I get my groceries from The Food Co-op, my Mobile and Broadband service provided by The Phone Co-op and am now social networking with the #SocialCoop. I'm also in the process of switching my bank and energy providers to co-operatives.
Any other switches I can make? How can I help promote the #PlatformCoop?
#Peertube Deluxe v1 has been fully funded! :D @Framasoft is giving some great responses to their reddit AMA (I particularly liked the answer about the UX/UI design)
Let's pave the way to v2! I neeeeed a PeerTube Android App in my life
Hey Gregg, I remember you're interested in 3d printing. Do you (or anyone else) have recommended articles, videos etc. about the possibilities of open source 3d printing?
I don't have a 3 d printer myself so not interested so much doing stuff in practice, just interested about the "scene" of open source 3d printing.
Yeah translation is a tricky one - might be good add some extra logic in the taxonomy API to handle language pairs (eg. English to Spanish) as a special type of tag based on a list of all existing languages, without needing to have millions of pre-existing entries in the database. (The ID for that tag would for eg. be “langs-eng-spa” intead of a random number or tag indentifier.)
Went to an interesting event last night about solidarity with the Kurdish cooperative movement in and around Rojava. Is there anything on this happening in North America, or anywhere else for that matter?
- Why create a library? - What challenges are there when implementing ActivityPub? - What challenges are specific to golang? - What is go-fed and its future?
Most useful for those interested in: - Background information. - Implementing AP apps or libs - Unique AP challenges in Go - WTF is this cj person thinking
Note: This isn't a go-fed/activity tutorial (ETA: TBD).
