    Oooooh, fucking hell... 😡

I found this extremely long hair embedded in my sandwich. My long-haired thick-maned flatmate has been moulting on the kitchen counter.

He always acts *completely* surprised when this kind of thing happens, of course, as if he's completely unaware of the fact that hair falls off his head, or that he might be able to prevent it by putting it up in a ponytail before uses the kitchen.

I'm going to have to make a rule. I hate those, but some people need them...

I can't sleep, so I spent a stupid amount of time illustrating how a bit mask of 6 bits can address:

    1. All 6 faces.
    2. All 8 edges.
    3. All 8 vertices.

Also, unlike on a NES controller, you can point at two opposing sides (not illustrated).

What are lines that intersect with the opposite faces of a cube at the origin called?

    4. All 3 axes.

If what you want to specify is a vertex, not setting the bits for 3 adjacent faces could be used to indicate ambiguity or missing data.

@Fergant Verdensbilde.

Monty Python would also be camp, come to think of it. I mean, the Romans Go Home subplot from Life of Brian may be very funny, but supposing you didn't find it funny, there is little else to gain from it as a viewer, except for a little bit of suspense. John Cleese isn't a good actor. He's a one trick pony who always plays the same character, and he knows it: He admires Graham Chapman for having the acting skills to play characters straight.

Sheldon from The Big Bang theory behaves in a way that you might call ambiguously camp. He's played that way because he's meant to be a dork, but had they rewritten him as gay, they would barely need to change anything else.

The camp phenomenon fascinates me somewhat, because it gets its appeal from being so bad that it goes full circle and becomes enjoyable by virtue of how bad it is.

If you take that as a definition of camp, Austin Powers and The Producers are extremely camp films.

You wonder how much success a real-life Bond villain would have with women.

Mind you, I'm counting affairs where she ends up dying horribly after annoying him as "successful" in this case, because I'm talking about the power of attraction here.

I mean, they are wealthy and powerful, so they might at the very least attract a few desperate gold diggers with no better prospects.

What I'm less convinced about is if such a personality and appearance could ever turn anyone on...

The fact that I look like said Bond villain when I pose for a photo with my cat is made even funnier by the fact that I was attempting to have my photo taken for my Tinder profile.

Can someone lend me a large empty room with a raised platform, a comically large chair, some stage lights and a smoke machine, because I have a hilarious photo I want to stage...

    Tinder bio:

Want to date a real man? Date a Bond villain.

PS: If you disobey, I have a pool. There are sharks. 🖤

    Love,
    Number 1

With my pale shaven head, a fluffy purebred cat, and a tendency to not smile in phots, I bear a striking resemblance to Number 1 from the James Bond movies.

Give me a vat of acid, 20 years and a wardrobe change, and I'll be his splitting image.

    • It's a me

@feld My sister suggested that I pay someone to finish it.

I told her I had an order of preference as to who should finish the job:

    1. Mom (obviously impossible)
    2. Her.
    3. No one.

Why my sister? She reminds me a lot of my mother, and they had a very close relationship. My sister is now the only lady in the house when my close family meets up.

Some people don't ever notice issues with air quality, humidity and temperature in a room. Others only notice if you point them out.

    Me?

I'm instantly uncomfortable if it's too warm or humid. My head feels heavy if the air isn't fresh.

Norwegians aren't big on AC. As for me? I haven't regretted buying one for a single day. It keeps the air just the way I like it, even on a warm and humid day, and also deodorises the air while it's at it.

It's somewhat warm and rainy today. The air conditioning system at the office isn't very good at dehumidifying air, and humid air equals reduced evaporation of sweat, which isn't a great feeling.

When I say optics instead of appearance, it's because it's not only about her body, hair, makeup or garments, but also her body language and charisma. "Who does she appear to be?" rather than just "Does she have a good appearance?"

Dating as most men seem to do it is basically a game where every move is some kind of deception or manipulation.

The only rule is to never state your intentions.

Before a man approaches a woman he never met, everything he knows about her is superficial. The fact that heterosexual men rarely find reason to approach other men they never met make their motivations for talking to women rather obvious. If a man approaches a random woman for no particular reason, it's because he likes her optics.
