i've been saying addressing any and all oppressions on here has to include addressing race -- and by definition, white supremacy -- for some time now, and i said as much on twitter before that.

that is literally what complimentary holism is, for example. addressing everything, and its interconections.

fedi not only has a race problem, it has an everything problem -- and yeah, there's a large percentage of white people on here, and that means what it usually means.

you don't have to believe in "unity" (i definitely don't, i believe in survival, autonomy and liberation) to work on making this better

so...please do, y'all.

making matters worse: the wave of accusations and counter-accusations that frequently follows, elevated to the level of shaming, dogpiling and banning, as a standing practice, no matter the offense or severity of someone's acts

way too many people do this on here, all the time, and it fucks with me, tbh. i'm definitely not alone in this

calling people in or out in oppressed communities isn't some kind of sin

calling them out while you're literally, actually oppressing them is some kind of "definite bad", though.
