@sparcipx we had a local coffee shop open in my town right next to starbucks recently. It's constantly packed and Starbucks has become a ghost town. It's awesome

@aldersprig they've been each sent off on a fools errand to get them out of the hair of the Legitimate Powers. None is expected to succeed, or survive. They stumble into success and learn to work together. MacGuffin is impossible, but they have to do it if they will have any worth (but they'll find worth in each other along the way).

@aldersprig Give one of the 3 more prominence over the others and use that character as the main hook. Maybe she was the MacGuffin for the other characters herself, and her goal has transferred to them.

For instance: Maybe animal spirit person isn't a person, but is an animal with a human spirit. Backward lycanthrope?

@aldersprig ghostbusters angle: they are all quacks until suddenly they aren't. They're forced together through being ostracized and they're the only ones that can GET IT DONE to save the day.

@aldersprig pull a reasonably obscure local mythos into the foreground and make it tangible: The Jersey Devil as an example. Connect the team through various aspects of the myth. Someone was kidnapped, an object was taken, something is COMING

@Cat I've got a liquidsoap script that auto plays all mp3s in the current folder to local audio to test. Run the script with the "openmic" argument and it pushes to anonradio.
