@starbreaker @lilithsaintcrow @TheGibson in a conversation earlier, @rysiek suggested that the corporation be put in jail (he had some specific neat ideas about that).

I figure, if the US wants to say that corporations are people then make them liable to the law in the same way. If a specific individual did what they did what would the charges be. Freeze their assets, put them on trial, and then imprison the company.

@gcupc @solderpunk @julienxx maybe talking about ascii art is the wrong approach. It's a loaded issue with questions on aesthetics and accessibility that are side issues.

Instead lets talk about things which *need* specific formatting, like code blocks. Authors are going to want to be able to share code snippets on Gemini, and having that reflow will be problematic.

We will need some way to indicate "fixed formatting" either in the protocol or in markup.

I don't have a solve, though.

Instead of the obvious setting of Thanskgiving 1985 for the next season, I think they're going to go with Arbor day for 2 important reasons:

1 Arbor sounds like Harbour
2. Arbor day is April 24th, 2 days before Chernobyl's reactor #4 melts down.

I bet we're gonna see eleven travel to the Soviet Union for some meltdown action.
