@ott0disk It was nicer when CW didn't force hide the pic and @Marchillect@archillect could CW the source link while showing the pic. Short link would be nice.
I made the mistake of closing my laptop lid while the upgrade was in progress, triggering the lock screen... which refused to unlock because the system was in an inconsistent state.
I got back in through SSH over PageKite (using Termux on my phone), and manually finished the upgrade by rebooting and running apt and dpkg by hand.
The fact that I could salvage it is kinda cool... but that was some serious hoop jumping.
So lately I've been working on a project to improve my knowledge of C programming. While it's going pretty good, I would like to read other people small-medium size projects to see code other than mine. Does someone know any projects like that?
- edit episode 0 of #Mastocast - put together some info for @tom79 and the new Mastalab site - shop for brunch tomorrow - maybe laundry (depending on if it is okay to just turn underware inside out and wear it for another day Y/N) - eat pizza - hatch two pokemon go eggs - review my gaming notes for tomorrow b/c we took summer break and I forgot where my players are (if I can't remember I will just have a giant robot kill them) - pet my cat
@vfrmedia public health departments do this with social media and disease. I listenes to an interesting #podcast episode a while back about how.the NYC dept of health has been able.to successfully identify outbreaks.of food born illness this way.
random science / #meteorology thought : it must be possible to use a years worth of toots to gather reliable (if anecdotal) data on #weather in Europe, USA and beyond- many people here carry out outdoor activity of some kind (cycling, wandering etc) and toot about weather conditions.
(inspired by a toot of mine from last year being boosted when I was up on a roof to inspect a community radio transmitter and it had already become quite cold by night, whereas start of Sep 2017 was warm..)
One of my favourite pictures, taken in my darkest times. I call it "Angel Trails". Oh - and it's CC0 of course. ๐ #photography#nightshot#church#rinteln
@milan it's hard to be positive sometimes. recently i've been trying to be aware of the things that influence me to be a negative person and limit my exposure to them
