The only Star Trek shows I actually binged through and watched every episode one after the other are DS9 and Enterprise. For the other shows, it still feels like there's enough of it left that I can just once in a while dip in and watch a couple episode I don't remember watching. And it feels like that well will never run dry. -

@Moon @ademan @lain @shpuld Outside of home hosting, one can also leverage VPS providers from around the world. The monthly cost of one with enough storage is not gonna be much, 10$-20$ a month, and it should easily scale to hundreds of users, so those costs can easily be distributed. -

@Moon @ademan @lain @shpuld Agreed, self-hosting is not an option for everyone yet, but in my experience running a full node is not that much more difficult or onerous than running a Pleroma instance. Once the case for running your own node is clearer (and Infura's move is making that case), I can see a lot more people being willing to do so for others, at least enough so that censorship will be ineffective -

@lain @ademan @Moon @shpuld Or change their node provider. Considering the significance of the move, I'm sure other public nodes operators in need of some publicity will step up to offer their services, probably even provide a simple step-by-step guide to doing the switch.
Encountering a censorship roadblock is not proof Ethereum is not censorship resistant. Seeing it route around that censorship is going to be evidence it is.
