I'm sorry but when Salon starts putting #Coinhive forward as useful to them I must increase my print subscriptions base -

I hate the thought of having to consider #Coinhive versus the #CFAA. -

Things like #Coinhive show how the Internet may deteriorate further for me. I can switch to lynx-cur, it seems. No #JS there -

Cape Town and Los Angeles both should be eagerly seeking the help of the world's foremost experts in desalinization. It's their only long-term hope to keep their cities going. In conversation from nu.federati.net permalink Repeated by alpacaherder -

What is wrong with South Africa? They are, literally, out of water. Cape Town, which will be out of drinkable water "within weeks", launches protests when Israeli's offer help.
They would, literally, rather die of lack of water than let Jews help them.

Senate has adjourned until 12:01 AM tomorrow. There will be a "technical" shutdown. If they pass things overnight...we'll see. The House is still recessed subject to the call of the chair.

We were told at 1340 ET that the contingencies were activated. It only leaked to the media around 1900 ET.
And now this at POLITICO?
Tomorrow’s default answer is likely either “no” or “we are not allowed pursuant to Article I, Section 9, Clause 7 of the federal constitution and the Anti-Deficiency Act to pay out refunds at this time”.
Clock is running...
