@Antanicus This is my theory on ancaps: They have an extremely positive image of themselves, but an extremely negative image of nearly everybody else, so they think money is their salvation from having to rely (or participate) in meaningful relationships with all us other ‘stupid folk’. These capitalists are shit scared — of other people especially — and their human-hating ways have created a human-hating ideology which we need to expose and undermine at every opportunity.

What is the role of emotion in the classroom, and how do teachers talk to students about emotion? Is it treated as ‘noise’? Okay in small amounts? A barrier to learning? And do emotions happen to you, or do you create emotions yourself?

Got me thinking about what #libertarian #municipalist cities would look like if they were built new. Each one with its own aesthetic, and its prioritisation of specific values.

Before Trump won all the white nationalists were talking about was an opt-out option. Would that be the future of lib-municipalism?Alt-righters in one city, anarcho-primitivists in another, ancoms in one place, liberals begging us to stay put?

When I started the quixotic journey to create a taxonomy of all human knowledge the most common (and well meaning) questions people asked me were: Why? What’s the point (you know Wikipedia exists right)? And the more obvious: Are you bonkers?

But I started because a taxonomy of knowledge primarily designed as a teaching resource ceased to exist. So, yeah.

Both dog and cat currently at vet getting their gonads removed. There was a lot of pressure to do it - esp from other dog owners - but I had read up a lot of counter-arguments, mostly from Scandinavian countries (in Norway it's illegal to neuter dogs). This was why I sat on the fence about it for 5 years.

1. The secessionist parties retained their wafer-thin parliamentary majority
2. Non-nationalist liberal party Ciudadanos won the majority vote (over 1.1 million and 25.3 percent) with 37 seats
3. Prime Minister Rajoy's PP and the government went from 19 seats in the Catalan Parliament just five years ago to 11 seats in 2015, to a meagre 3 seats this year
4. Podem has gone down from 11 seats and nearly 9 percent of votes in 2015 to 8 seats and around 7 percent
