@deadsuperhero I am not sure why something like the FMA hasn't taken off for video. I suspect it is because video takes more money to create, most of the time, and thus more people are more tied to industry. There's financial success to be had in !ccmusic (depending on definition of success, of course), but I don't know if that's true in video. My theory would seem to make sense with the success of Blender. You need *people* to make live action, but one passionate person can do animation, just like one passionate person can record all the parts of an album. Organization is a huge problem within the music scene too. Lorenzo's Music, for example, who has been featured in Forbes, can't tour because of they have many members to coordinate. I suppose documentary film could largely get around the people-coordination issue. Although I have the background to be able to help out on the video side, the one CC video project I tried (with two people who work full-time in the industry) died because we didn't have financial backing up front and we needed to do on-location stuff

ironically, "handicapped" is actually a word that I think makes sense to move away from because it comes from when disabled people were beggars. I'm not losing any sleep over it though. :)

people have changed retardation to delayed. I fail to see how this solves anything. I think we are saying the same thing.

The whole thing about "mental retardation" is that now assholes are just going to make fun of delayed people.

Delayed is kinda not really what is happening though. These people aren't going to catch up.

Below normal temperatures are expected through the next 5 days. There is a slight chance for light rain with a cold front on Saturday, but otherwise, mostly dry conditions are forecast. #MNwx #WIwxpic.twitter.com/WXu0F5xM3j http://dlvr.it/Qn6Q33

sure, let's just upload a 2GB log file without compressing it.

On the plus side, I guess I don't have to type another comman to uncompress it. I am going to go on the Internet and complain about it though. :)

$7.5 Million Solid Gold Lamborghini: In Dubai, Of Course
      from Motor Authority
When you have, quite literally, everything--or at least the capacity to buy everything--what do you want? Solid gold models of $400,000 cars, apparently. That's our take-away from this $7.5 million solid gold Lamborghini Aventador model, anyway. Carved from an 1,100-pound block of solid gold, the model will weigh 55 pounds. In solid gold.
