"wish i could say exactly what we fixed - a swift kick in the pants seems to have done the trick :-)"
I wish more admins would do this. If your business is so intense you can't bring a server down for a couple of minutes maybe you should think about an fail-over strategy... !devops -

Looks like we hired someone in Australia. Either that, or we gave up. Probably hired someone though. :)

"Millennial..." just stop. We aren't all the same. Are Bernie Sanders and Trump the same? Seriously, wtf? -

I am not a DMB fan, but it's a welcome change to the country that usually gets played around here. In conversation from nu.federati.net permalink -

that note is old, but at some point we stopped supporting it, so that remains state of the art in Novell support In conversation from nu.federati.net permalink -

TIL: "Do not run the Perforce Server on a Novell file system. The Perforce server creates database files with names that are not 8.3 compliant, and the Novell file system does not support such extended file names. As a result, for example, the files "db.rev," "db.revcx," and "db.review"; cannot be distinguished as different files, and are overwritten and corrupted." !vcs In conversation from nu.federati.net permalink -

without looking into the issue...I think the issue is not the map, but the inability to "guess" at similar location names appropriately.
It's not an OSM-specific issue. Whatever Nissan uses is garbage. Garmin is garbage.
A lot of people love ridewithgps.com which I've not liked when I've looked at it before, but I should look at again.
I've got a month and 9 days to figure out how I want to do this.In conversation from nu.federati.net permalink -

apparently you can only put 9 destinations on Google Maps. I guess I'll have to see what limits if any there are on open street maps. In conversation from nu.federati.net permalink -

I agree, but the choices are hilarious. I added the Java tag. Probably the most important tag is one I added. I mean, there's nothing about the job at all or than the title. Like, how about a location...or something more useful than "Check out this great #job at my company" In conversation from nu.federati.net permalink -
