I think it would take hitting $1500 / month for me to be able to totally work full time on this stuff though, and that seems like a lot to raise. In the unlikely event that somehow I got that much coming in per month, I could switch to working on building cool fediverse-converging-with-distributed-games things full time.
If we had a standing/regularly recurring happy hour/after-work/pub trivia get together (e.g., every month, alternating between :flag_stp: and :flag_mpls: would you put it on your calendar (and occasionally attend)?
Scooter news RT @FrederickMelo@twitter.com “We scooted to a polling place on Election Day and a supporter just said they scooted to my swearing in. If that’s not the St. Paul I want to live in, I don’t know what is.”
God only knows how old he is. The shelter decided he was 12 when he came in. He loved to play when we got him and even up until last year he would play with Garfield occasionally. He pretty much just sleeps, eats, and poops now.
We make him climb stairs to get his food, so he does get a little exercise. He also climbs stairs to get up on the bed. He sleeps in all the different rooms of the house, so he's still mobile...he's not particularly fast though.
we tried with one of our cats, and he was not a fan. I think the other would eat anything. He tried to eat Styrofoam, for example. He's the sweetest cat ever, but not the brightest.
and before people spaz out about Whole Foods, it's the only grocery store in our neighborhood (which of course says something about our neighborhood, but I don't anticipate ever owning a car again).

Does anyone around here #hike? I've posted a lot about cycling and I get cycling stuff in my feed now, but I haven't gotten a lot of discussion going around my hikes. Maybe that's mostly because I've been posting that on facebook for a variety of reasons. The chief among them is the people that would actually be checking my location are on facebook, but if we can get more people in !minnesota here, maybe that'll change.
I don't listen to enough electronic music to be able to compare to this to anyone. I'm imagining Atari Teenage Riot turning into a reggae band, but it's not really reggae. Anyway, I like it:
