one interesting note in there is this: "Note that for VMs, this will be different: The guest OS might display a value of 1048576, but the open calls will in the end be handled by the host OS, which will impose the limit of 1024"
It's possible this is the ultimate issue, but since the customer is unwilling to give us a sosreport, I doubt I will ever know.

musicmanDoes anybody use #WSO2 API Manager AND Identity Server? Do you run them in separate VMs? Do you just move some directories from IS to the AM server (or visa versa)? Running two carbon servers on the same box leads to port conflicts and it seems to be for an integrated solution, you should just be able to run a single #carbon server.
it's not impossible that I would get asked to learn it for work. Postgres is a big project for us.
However, I suspect a lot of orgs that would be interested in PeerTube would not be able/willing to afford us. There's Reddit, but past that, idk.
It's hard to know when I might have time outside of work to look into it. Once the CC CMA stuff is done wrapping up the 2020 cycle, I will have more time to think about where it might even fit in the schedule.
In my view, web market percentages are incomparable to brick and mortal market percentages. I suspect that point at which we diverge on this. I'll just leave it at that, because I don't think the case law has addressed this yet.
If Facebook wants to stay out of anti-trust issues, tying an account to the Occulus 2 was certainly not a good move...
can't take anyone seriously that thinks this: "Banning the president of the United States was shocking."
With regards to your commentary, I am not sure I agree with the idea that Facebook blocking people is a threat to us at all. I understand the sentiment, but for us specifically, in the fediverse, it is one of the best things that could happen, at least in the short term.
The Section 230 implications are potentially interesting.

My guess is that Lake Michigan keeps Milwaukee more temperate, so...we are also slightly hotter in the summer. We are far enough from Superior that we don't see weather changed by it very much.
I guess the shortest version of the issue is this: customer wants more cpu to be used. HOWEVER, unclear if there is actually an issue...like, is it too slow, dropping messages...idk. They were hitting a very clear RAM issue, but that has since been resolved.
customer is doing Rabbit. Idk enough about their use case yet to say for certain, but I have a feeling #ApacheKafka might have been a better choice for them.
