Who is it that needs these rah-rah meeting from the CEO? Sure, let people ask questions. That's great, but I don't have questions. I just want to do my shit.

still broken...I guess I can try to follow along
-
still waiting for the install to finish, lol.
-
maybe the node LTS version will be old enough. Still newer than the training materials, but don't see an obvious way to get something older
-
installed node....looks like the version may be too new for the training material. ugh.

I know people are going to be creeped out by location sharing, but...

I start as soon after 6am as I can. 6am is when the cats get feed, although they'd often prefer it be earlier.
I decided last week to take a longer ride in the morning so I wasn't doing a long ride on the weekend. Advice on cycling during the pandemic is to not go too hard or long, as depleting yourself not good for the immune system. That day I think I got up at 5:30am.
Not sure where you are in Europe, but living in Minnesota, we are well acquainted with darkness.
I was riding through mud and snow on Sunday, but seemingly endless people. I won't be riding that western route again for a while.
The northern route I did on Saturday was better, but still too many people.
My wife and I are trying to figure out an indoor bike. It is not something I have ever considered in the past, but should prove rather useful, I think.

Good luck!

Evan Lindsay Graham is like "woah there, can't have a functioning economy with the hospitals all full and people dying"

@lnxw48a1 assuming you are interested because of the RP. It is, in fact, part of the Confluent new breed of open core licenses, which we don't support.
Although we already supported Elastic, so for now we still do.
-
If we don't get one here today, we enter the "everybody dies" phase of the curve (well, strictly speaking it's a range, but today is the most pessimistic )
-
part of it is the lack of commuting, but I have found:
A: trails seem to be more crowded on the weekend
B: early mornings are reasonably free of people.
I am personally wondering what best to do about A.

Is the JMS client #freesoftware or is it part of the Confluent nonsense? #apachekafka

Anybody know the minimum setup for Zwift? #cycling

not sure if this is a department count, system count, hospital count, or what, but apparently University of !Minnesota has 10 days of masks left.
-
What components would you expect to see in an #opensource #ApacheKafka implementation (aka not #Confluent)?
#KafkaConnect and #Zookeeper are the only two I have right now. I am aware of KIP 500.

Are trails and such still open in #Duluth? I have never been, so I don't know what is maintained by state, etc.
I'm considering quarantining up there next week.

yeah. We decided 455 was big enough for there to be real fork and if that happens we will deal with it then.
