    I first got my own domain when I was running for public office over a decade ago. I don't currently have ANYTHING on my homepage, yet I keep paying for hosting and domain. I've been surprised how useful I find keeping my own #email. (It's not self-hosting, as I let my hosting provider take care of day-to-day maintenance, so I avoid some of those pitfalls). I particularly appreciate the "family" account that we have set to go to my wife's & my inbox that we list for all the "important" stuff like kids' registration, doctor appointments, electric bills etc.

    Just a reminder #OpenOffice still exists! openoffice.apache.org/blog/ann… I personally still prefer it over #LibreOffice. I'm all for less churn, more stability, and smaller learning curves. I still use both, though, as the improvements to LibreOffice #Draw, particularly the ability to open #Microsoft #Visio files is useful for me. #Apache #FreeSoftware #GNU #Linux (and #windows & #MacOS too if you must)

    @M Belayet no one needs to read a book to know human life is more valuable than an inadament object. I am. Christian. I believe the Eucharist is the literal body, blood, soul & divinity of God. I think there is little worse anyone can do than
    desecrate the Eucharist. However even if someone does desecrate the Eucharist it would still be wrong to respond with violence. If we love God we must be that love to others. I God is all good than there can be no hate in Him.
