GNOME remembers the display settings of different monitor combinations!
So, if I just have my laptopās screen on, it knows to use 4K@ 300%. Since it canāt do different scales for different screens, when I plug my 21" 4K monitor, it knows to display that at 4K@200% but scale the laptop to 2,560Ć1,440@200% (which keeps things legible). But if I plug in my tiny 1080i Lilliput output monitor, resolutions change to 1,920Ć1,080@200% on all so I can simulate my presentation environment.

Blockchain: decentralisation centralised on my coin.
Hint: the core of decentralisation isnāt about having a billion copies of the same database. Itās about a billion people each having their own, unique database.
PS. In a truly decentralised system, no one makes a billion dollars. *watches all the right libertarians make for the door*

Capitalism in a nutshell:
1. Invest all money in businesses that exploit natural resources (the environment/people) in an unquenchable, shortsighted & illogical thirst for perpetual growth within a closed system.
2. When ramifications become visible, blame the people forced to patronise those businesses due to lack of alternatives for being irresponsible in their personal consumption choices.
Rinse and repeat until we all die because weāve destroyed our habitat.

Security isnāt about protecting everything from everything. Itās knowing what youāre protecting from what (and what youāre not protecting). Thatās why we use threat models.
An analogy: you donāt protect food from the environment; you protect different types of food from different factors of the environment. You might design a heat lamp to protect the freshness of your dinner but a freezer for your ice cream. What you donāt do is design a heat lamp and assume itāll protect your ice cream also.
