Every time I look at the list of installed apps on my smartphone I‘m surprised how much storage apps consume today, f.e.

- 180 MB for a cloud drive
- 70 MB to check petrol prices

Is there something simple that allows to view your downloaded Mastodon data in a more accessible way? Like a viewer app for ActivityPub data?

Don’t think that there are any good macOS clients yet, I’m currently using the web-app as an Fluid app (https://fluidapp.com) and it works well.

The first signs of autumn

@_xhr_ That’s what I’m doing as well if they have some toots I can read.

What I was trying to say (and maybe failed to express it clearly enough) is that I’m unsure what to do if they don’t have some toots from which I could infer what kinds of topics they’ll be talking about :)

When people start to follow me, but have no bio or a few posts from which I can infer who they are, I’m always unsure how to react.

On the one hand I don’t want to appear as arrogant by not following back.

On the other hand, unfollowing someone later on when I realize that I’m not really interested in their content makes me feel even more awkward.
