@mrmcmayhem As a kid, seeing trannies without context provided by rupaul, I saw ugly men who made even uglier, stupid-looking "ladies." When I figured out this wasn't theater/humor, they went into the same category as the crazies that talked to themselves on the bus.

Actual reality is generally fine for kids.

The problem is when it's interpreted -- schools, media -- and parents absent working can't compensate. Without their parent's cues, with toxic cues from schools and media dominate.

As to what the Japanese are doing, I do not have an opinion. I like that they set a high bar, but as a libertarian-type, I think it's stupid all the way around: fuck government paperwork, and fuck people's preoccupations with their wing-wangs.
